My daughter enjoys gathering feathers, whether she finds them on the sidewalk or a walking trail. She loves examining them and researching the birds they belong to. During a recent trip to Safari West in Santa Rosa, California, she particularly enjoyed the Wild Experience. Her treasured keepsake were feathers from the various birds she met at Safari West.
I've done this project with feathers from our chickens, and knew this would be the perfect way to showcase her found feathers.
What You Need :
Feathers (or any flat treasures)
Push pins or nails to hang your frame
Follow the directions to open the frame, then organize the feathers how you like them.
Once you have your feathers placed, put the frame back together. I love this frame because it's really easy!.
Take your frame and display! I recommend clear push pins or small nails to hang your frame because you want the hanging items to be as discreet as possible. I used white push pins to show you how visible the hanging items can be.
The feathers look great in her sunset painted room. She loves displaying her feathers and that she was able to help with the layout.
Have you tried other items in a floating frame? Let me know what items you love to display!
